In celebration of July and this quickly passing 2009 year I wanted to share a little big more about the customization options in our Signature Collection.   All designs in the collection can be modified to match the color and wording of a couple’s individual event.  Plus in most cases the fonts can be modified to match the mood or formality as well.  A simple change in color and script can make a huge difference in the design & I wanted to share a few with you.

First up is the Natalie Collection.   I’ve updated the colors for each season as well as mixed up the fonts for more casual or formal events.  All month I will be posting each collection and it’s options so be sure to check back!

Enjoy!

In other news… I know posting has been light on the blog, but I’ll do my best to pick it up in the coming weeks.  Thanks to everyone who entered the Style Me Pretty contest earlier in the month.  I’m having so much fun working with new couples all over the country.

My schedule is quickly filling up for Signature Collection brides through the end of the year.  For custom work please be sure to contact me 6 months in advance to schedule a design consultation and reserve your wedding date!

Things have been crazy busy this week. .. mostly due to the fun give-away I did over on Style Me Pretty.  Not only that but we had a flashback to 2007 when my hubby & I said our “I-DO’s”.  Check it out right HERE!

Thanks Abby & the Style Me Pretty team for hosting the give-away and posting my wedding pics.  And welcome to all the new visitors here at the blog :)

I work with a lot of my custom design couples for months prior to their wedding.  In the case of Erin & Scott, it’s been well over a year of fun design and planning.   During the custom process I feel like I learn so much about my couples, especially the brides, that I find myself super excited as I count down the days until their wedding.  At the same time I get a little bummed out knowing I won’t get to share anymore emails or chats about their ideas!  It’s a little like a good friend moving away!

So, today is one of those days… Erin & Scott are off getting hitched in sunny San Diego! I am really excited for them, and I know their wedding is going to be absolutely AMAZING!  I can’t wait to see the pictures.  I am a little behind on blogging and I never got the chance to share all of the fun paper products we dreamed up for their wedding day, from engagement announcements & save the dates to invitations & programs…. here are a few snapshots of the designs. Enjoy!

In an effort to make browsing our designs easier for our readers I have updated the portfolio section of the blog… now titled “Signature Wedding” and soon to arrive  “Custom Collection”.  My biggest reason for this is to help those who would like to browse and have limited time to spend on either the blog or website.  Anyone who has visited our website will recognize that it is flash based and isn’t as fast and streamlined as I’d like.  I’m working on new website alternatives, but in the meantime I hope this revamped blog section helps.   Any feedback or comments on the blog or site are always welcome. Enjoy!

Also, be sure to check out the latest design in the collection… Rebekah!

I got some great news this week from Abby & her great team at the Style Me Pretty blog.  Fuzzynk has been selected to be a new member of Abby’s Little Black Book of the best wedding vendors.  I’m really excited and honored to be a part of this hand-picked group of wedding specialists.  If you are one of the few people left that haven’t heard of Abby’s blog be sure to check it out!  She posts the most amazing weddings, give-aways, DIY ideas and more.

It isn’t a secret that green is a favorite color of mine… but seeing as today is Earth Day it seemed appropriate to celebrate green in a different sort of way.  So I am offering a special discount to save any new clients a little of their own green.  I’ve also put together a few tips on how to be more eco-friendly with your wedding paper goods as well as how Fuzzynk tries to be a green company.  Enjoy!

Green Invitation Tips!

* postcard style rsvp… saves an envelope!

* print on 2 sides… uses less inserts!  example: map w/ directions on reverse

* use one small insert to direct guests to your website… saves an envelope & extra inserts!

How is Fuzzynk green?

* paper products range from 30% to 100% recycled content

* earth friendly inks

* save & reuse scraps for test prints, samples, and proofs

* reuse packaging from our suppliers to ship to our clients

I’m so happy spring is finally here!  I’m ready for some spring clothes shopping & maybe some new flowers in the yard.  I hope everyone has a lovely weekend… see ya next week!

It probably doesn’t surprise anyone to find out that my favorite color is green.  I’ve always been a huge fan of every shade from chartreuse to emerald.  One of my favorite uses of green in weddings is in the flowers… so I’ve put together a few images to inspire everyone on this happy St. Patty’s day.  Enjoy!
