It’s been a very long time coming… but I finally dug up enough time in my schedule to complete a total redesign of the fuzzynk website!  I am beyond excited to share this with everyone.  On the new site you will find the complete Signature Wedding Collection, samples of some of my favorite Custom Wedding Invitation projects, and answers to the most frequently asked questions!  I hope everyone will take a moment to hop over to the new site and look around.  Feel free to share your thoughts back here on the blog or you can always contact me via email.

To celebrate the website release I’d like to share a little of the joy with you.  Any invitation orders placed today through the end of October will receive a 15% discount.  Just mention this blog post when you place your order!

I’m happy to say that the website design is complete and the coding is almost done!  So, I will finally have a big announcement here on the blog sometime in the coming month to show off the new look… complete with a discount code for new clients!  I can’t wait to share the long overdue updated website.  Next up is redesigning this here fuzzynk blog.  Since the website is getting a clean new look I’ve also been busy updating my other online portfolios with the latest images of my Signature Collection Wedding Invitations.

One of my favorite wedding spots is the amazing Style Me Pretty blog.  I’ve been a member of Abby’s Little Black Book of wedding vendors since 2009 and have watched the site grow in so many beautiful ways.  If you haven’t ever checked out the SMP blog be sure to pop over and enjoy the eye candy, amazing vendor recommendations, style board builder and more!

While you’re there take a peek at the fuzzynk portfolio and check out the latest pictures of our Signature Collection Wedding invitations & let me know what you think!

A few months back I was asked by the amazing Brenda Swann of Swann Soirees if I would like to contribute the paper goods for a wedding photo shoot she was putting together.  Of course, knowing that she always plans amazing weddings I was happy to join in the fun.  The “Grace” invitation I designed for the shoot is also now included in my Signature Collection if you are interested in ordering the design for your own stylish event!

The wedding theme was originally “Seeing Stripes” and during development it blossomed into a modern art-deco themed blue, gold, and pink wedding design.  Beautiful!

Here are a few pictures from the day.  Be sure to hop over to Brenda’s blog to read all of the details from the day.  Big thanks to all of the wedding vendors who contributed their time & goods!

It’s long overdue, but my Signature Collection wedding invitations are finally redesigned and ready for order.  I was holding off on their big debut to coordinate it with the release of the new website, but there have been a few delays (my indecisiveness mainly) and I just can’t wait anymore.  Take a minute to browse through the collection and let me know what you think.  There is a mix of completely new designs, a few classics from the original collection, and a few updated oldies but goodies.  Enjoy!

Late last year I was contacted by one of my favorite ladies, Melissa from I do… Weddings! to help her out with a table-scape for Exquisite Weddings magazine.   As soon as I heard the theme of Southern Vintage I jumped at the chance to participate.   Melissa’s ideas for the table easily translated into the invitation, menu, table names, and favor cards that I put together for her.  I’ll do a post in the future of all the items that were created but for now here is a link to the magazine’s Bride Suite blog post!

Thanks to Exquisite Magazine & The Bride Suite as well as Melissa for inviting me to participate.

As I prepare to launch the new fuzzynk website and the 2011 Signature Collection I have been skipping over one large to-do list task… reorganizing my supplies & samples.  This weekend it finally happened and I must admit it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be.  I am so excited and inspired to finish up my designs now that I have boxes of new colorful sample envelopes, pocket-fold backings, and custom design samples labeled and ready to go.  I can’t wait to share everything I have in the works, but for now here are a few pictures of the items I’ve been sorting as well as sketches of new invitation ideas.
I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and is enjoying their Sunday evening.

2010 was a crazy year… as can be seen from nearly 16 months of inactivity on this blog.  But here I am enjoying a perfectly beautiful day on 1-1-11 daydreaming about the excitement of the year ahead.  I love the fresh start that comes with the first day of a new year and I can’t wait to share the plans I have with all of you.   I’m nose deep in a new website design, brand new invitation suites, and fresh revamps of some of my most popular Signature Collection designs.  Thanks for sticking with me and I hope you enjoy the newness to come.  For now, here is a sneak peek of my new logo!

Wow! I haven’t missed an entire month of blogging since starting well over a year ago, but somehow the entire month of August passed without one post.  September is suddenly here and what better way to start it off then by sharing wedding pictures from one of my favorite couples.

I’ve posted about Erin & Scotts wedding paper in the past & I am delighted that this wonderful couple now has the chance to share their beautiful wedding with the rest of the blogging world.  Be sure to check them out right HERE on the Style Me Pretty: Little Black Book Blog!

I’ll be back soon with more posts… no more slacking!

In this third customization post I have put together options showing the Nicole invitation in one, two, or three colors.   Limiting the number of colors is a great way to fit letterpress printing into your invitation budget.  You’ll also notice that in the winter scheme the playful Nicole design can be made sophisticated for a black tie affair.  Enjoy!

Part two of our signature collection customization options is here!  This time I’ve modified Betsy to show how much the font and color choices can completely change the look of this invite design.  Also, I know a lot of my couples are interested in fitting letterpress into their budget… and a big part of that is limiting the number of colors on the invite!  So, you’ll see in the samples below that Betsy doesn’t loose any of its charm when you drop the colors from three down to just one.  The spring design is a perfect example of how a single color print can be done up with a colored backing to create a great little package.  Enjoy!
