I decided to dive deep into some of my oldest etsy favorites to see what I could find… and I wasn’t disappointed.  I don’t know how I could have missed posting this great gift idea previously. Better late than never, right?

Check out these handmade customizable rings from etsy seller Delias Thompson!  Each ring (she has bracelets too) can  be engraved with a favorite quote, names, or anything else you can dream up.  I love the sample she shows… it says “will you be my made of honor…”  I think anyone would be happy to wear one or three of these great pieces.  As soon as I can figure out what to engrave I’m going to snatch a few for myself!  I’ll let you know what I end up choosing.

So be sure to check out her etsy shopblog… or website for more  amazing work.  Enjoy.

I think it’s time to bring back my Friday Finds post.  I have a backlog of favorites from etsy that I have wanted to share… so I’ll start off with these great bags from seller Red Ruby Rose!

I absolutely adore the graphic patterns and playful colors in the materials she uses on these clutches.  Really you could find a bag for just about any occasion or any person. They would make a fantastic gift for your bridal party… not only to use at the wedding but for years to come.

Be sure to swing by her shop and see the dozens of other bags available.

Also, a lot of you have contacted me regarding the discount for those who commented on my give-away post.  I am going to continue the discount through the weekend… so if you’ve been planning on shooting me an email be sure to do it soon.  I look forward to hearing from you!

It has been quite a while since my last blog post. I hope all of my readers had a happy and fun holiday season…. and are as excited about the new year as I am.

2009 looks to be a pretty exciting and busy year for fuzzynk.  I am about 75% finished with the new website!  I never realized how much work it would take to get a simple & clean site up and running… but it is almost done & I can’t wait to share it!

One of the biggest changes that will come with the new site is that I am expanding beyond only custom invitation designs.   Fuzzynk will now have a new wedding collection of pre-designed invitations for couples who are short on time or just aren’t interested in working from scratch.   Each design will have not only the invitation set but coordinating reception items and save-the-dates as well.  Of course each of the items will allow for customization of colors and wording to work perfectly with the personality of each couple’s event.

I will be previewing the designs here on the blog over the next few weeks prior to the website release.  The release of the full line of invitations will come with a special give-away surprise for my blog readers… so be sure to check back!

I don’t want this post to be all business… so here are a few AWESOME recommendations for a little post holiday shopping.  I tried my best to purchase handmade gifts this year & my lovely husband followed along by surprising me with Christmas and birthday gifts from some of my favorite etsy artists.

I’ve been trying to curb my shopping habits… which means less time browsing sites I love.  Well, while doing some “research” for future inspiration boards last night I popped over to one of my favorite places, J.Crew.com.  I’m totally impressed with their current selection of wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, and shoes.  If you have a moment be sure to pop over and take a look.  Here are a few of my favorites…

Department stores are a great alternative from traditional bridal salons… be sure to check the racks for rehearsal dinner dresses, bridesmaids attire, and even your own wedding dress!

I was cruising through the Nordstrom website this past weekend and came across these four great dresses… all from one my favorite designers, BCBG, and all for under $600!

I’m settling in for a gloomy holiday weekend… I can’t believe we are so lacking in the sunshine department after just having record heat a week ago!  I hope everyone has a fun weekend with or without the sunshine!  Start things out by checking out these beautiful pieces of jewelry by designer Lauren Haupt.  My favorite piece is the wood necklace shown at the bottom center image.  Check out more of her work in her etsy shop!

Perhaps a veil just isn’t your thing.  Or maybe you want to go traditional for the ceremony but leave the hassle behind when celebrating at the reception.  Consider one of these veil alternatives to spice up your lonely locks!

Be sure to check out the Twigs&Honey blog & shop by Myra, the designer of the hair pieces in the top row.  She also makes custom boutonnieres and other accessories.  I think her colorful styles would be fantastic for bridesmaids or flower girls!

I was doing a little on-line window shopping on Wednesday evening and like usual I found myself browsing through the J.Crew website.  I must admit… I want most everything they have!  This particular evening a few pieces of jewelry really caught my eye.  I love them… but in an effort to curb my shopping habits… I won’t be buying them (yet)!  Lucky for all of us they make up a perfect color palette for an inspiration board.  This revelation came way past my “bedtime” so the board will be showing up on Friday!

Until then… drool over these pieces with me!

Today’s fun find is from etsy seller Charm Design.  I am desperately in need of new bag (or two) and have completely fallen for the designs in this shop.  The bag in the center picture is my favorite. I love the color combination and it seems like the perfect size to fit all of my random stuff!  You can take a look at more great items in Charm Design’s SHOP

Next week I hope to have my fun Trip Report post finished up to share with everyone.  So, stay tuned for some pictures of the California coast.  Also, if you every have an idea or question for a post let me know and I will do my best to post about it on the blog.  Happy weekend everyone!

I was planning a post about wedding rings and came across redcatrun on Etsy!  I absolutely love the ring designs she has in her shop and I couldn’t hold off any longer to post a few of them.  You can browse the rest of redcatrun’s jewelry designs HERE and check the BLOG too.

I have a busy weekend planned… lots of projects going on in fuzzynk studio right now.  Check back next week for a few sneak previews!  Happy Friday Everyone!!!
